My current headache is a production manager who... Honestly, I don't know what he does
I have one of those too. All he seems to do is order me things that are not at all what I want and then argue how his choice is better. (I am having washing machine issues, and I hate the new one that has every feature I asked NOT to have and was twice as expensive).
My consignment store suit fits, hooray! I forgot until just now that my favorite flats need a heel replaced so I'm wearing pumps that seem to have retained some glitter from the last time I wore them. So it goes.
Possibly overdressed for an informal meeting with my potential new boss but that's how I roll. Today, anyway.
Good luck -t!
I woke up tired, which is not a good thing, given the amount of work that is waiting for me. Moar coffee is needed.
Thanks!
Coffee, yes, I should get me some of that.

I think we have the second verse of The Perfect Country Song!
Today, we're making -t's 1/3 caffeinated coffee with 2T of grounds instead of 3. Let's see if she notices.

I'm annoyed because I could have slept an extra hour or so this morning (I turned in all my articles yesterday, so I have no pressing deadlines, though I still have stuff to do), but no, my brain decided that half an hour before my normal wake-up time was when we were going to be up, by god.
Stupid brain.
I hear that. Not this morning, but many recent mornings.
You'd think our brains would be on our side more often.
Coffee is on the weak side, but fine. Fortunately, someone left some surplus donuts on the counter, one of them will complement this cup nicely.
