Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Punishingly Intricate

Just did yoga and now gearing up for a shortish (just over 20 miles) but hard ride. Food planning for the week and trying to not be too stressed out about work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Have coffeed, hooray! May have lost the lid to my coffee grinder (the grinder part comes off and the bottom can be used for storage with the matching lid). Turns out a regular-mouth mason jar lid will work, but the one that came with it looks much nicer, so i hope it turns up.

Speaking of mason jars - sarameg how are you making those lights? I have some extra jars and could use more solar lighting options.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've found some borage seeds, so today will involve planting those. I also need to do some grocery shopping (and buying allergy meds--pollen is drifting like yellow snow around here). Otherwise I'll probably spend the rest of the day poking at the Wordpress multisite network I installed on an old netbook. A job I applied for uses it, and if I get called into an interview it would be good to know something about it.

I take those < $1 solar garden lights (you know, the ones in the garden section at wherever. Like these [link] ) and disassemble them down to just the panel/light component. I cut out "lids" from a heavy duty plastic- in this case,a placemat. Then cut out an opening in those same size as the solar panel. This part is the biggest pita. Glue the light into that, pop into screw top and onto jar. Latest effort, I used a hot glue gun.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should be doing yard work, since it is amazing outside, but I still don't feel that great, so housework may be all I get done. That would still be a step in the right direction!

I've coffeed and empanadaed. Need to get moving or I'm doomed.

hip deep in pie

The last two nights for me have been bad dreams/insomnia and now it seems, days filled with anxiety. Last night I literally leapt from my bed to get away from an anxiety dream. (About trying to find my glasses...I don't even wear glasses!)

But it's lovely outside , so I'm just hoping to get some enjoyment out of the day.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am on the bus to the theatre to do ironing. I don't have enough students anymore, and they are all new. I am hoping the bus ticket machine takes credit cards, otherwise I am not sure how I can make my transfer!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plan for today: finish coffee, go to Home Depot to buy more mulch, go to breakfast, go to trader joes, go to office for 2 or 3 hours, go home, take a nap, apply mulch, watch more Bloodline.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Today is lunch with Dad, Trader Joe's, Staples, and then home to do taxes and read my library book.
