True sign the week should be over: the vending machine was out of peanut m&ms! Instead I got some trail mix thing that included m&m type candies, and is more calories and less delicious than what I actually wanted.
I'd say that's a true sign that someone needs to keep better snacks in her desk.
Aw, shrift, you should've taken the whole day off to save your energy for dinner!
Wise words. I may cancel on dinner, only because we're going to do brunch and see Furious 7 on Sunday. I probably should go to the doctor to see if this is a sinus infection.
That was pretty tasty, but a lot of salt. I forget how salty instant food is when I don't have it for a while.
I signed up for a 5k in October with some of my co-workers. That should be enough time for me to get ready. It's a "glow foam" run, which should be fun, I guess?
Oh, my, plenty of time! And yes, that is a fun run, like the Diva Dash I did.
I WAS going to do the DV Prevention Run, but I'm glad I didn't sign up for it early, because we have to move (again) that weekend.
You are, as ever, my cooking-gadget inspiration, -t!

Ah, but then I would never NOT have m&ms, and this way, I only have them sometimes.
We were looking at a Diva run, Strix, but it's on a weekend when one of us was out of town. I would like to do one of those.

That is a tough line to walk. I keep a bunch of candy at a far corner of my desk ostensibly for people who come talk to me to have, but also so I always have some available. It's out of my eye-line and I can, apparently, forget it is there so I don't just eat candy all day every day, but I am not at the mercy of the fickle vending machines.

My 5K is a week from tomorrow. I'm not convinced I'm ready, mostly because my sprained ankle is a jerk and I haven't been able to really train the way I needed to. I walked 2 miles in 40 minutes the other day, and I'm about to go take a walk in a few minutes, so I'm pretty sure I can make it for 3.1 miles. But I'm actually kind of nervous about it.
Just take your time. Push yourself at the end rather than the beginning.
You will be fine! Take it easy and don't hurt yourself, though, do like brenda says.
Timelies all!
While today does seem warmer than yesterday, it's nowhere near the 70s that was predicted.
