Go productive people!
I had an interview for a job today. It went reasonably well. It's not on the top of my dream job list as far as pending applications, go (interesting work, but drastically underpaid), but it's charm was dramatically enhanced through actually calling me in for an interview. I should hear in a week or two.
Lots of ~ma, Calli!
Any recommendations on a carpet steam cleaner?
I killed my battery
twice
today doing the
same thing
(leaving my headlights on, because it wasn't dark enough to notice, and my alarm noise thingy has stopped working, grrr)!
I have lost my "good" eyeglasses. They aren't the really expensive ones, but they are the pretty ones that look decent on me. Can't find them anywhere. Afraid I left them in the hotel room in Nashville, or the rental car. Dammit.

My productivity problem today is that I'm tired. I fell sleep reading last night and woke up around 5am wondering why the light was still on. I suck at focusing when I'm tired, so I just need to pick some things I want to get done in the next couple of hours.

My car the back door (it's a mini-SUV) has trouble latching if you don't STRONGLY close it. And when I'm in the garage with the door open, sometimes I forget, because I don't have a ton of space, and it only MOSTLY closes...and then the "door ajar" light is on...and I KEEP doing it! You'd think I'd learn.
Oh, I have that trouble when I park in the garage, meara. I can tell the door is still open because the dome light is on, but with the garage light on I don't notice the dome light.
Leaving the lights on I have trouble with because they will turn themselves on under some circumstances, so just seeing that the headlights are shining on the wall I'm parked in front of does not mean I need to turn them off. I have trained myself pretty well to just turn the switch off regardless, just in case.
Bummer, Zen. You could contact the hotel and car company and ask.
Yeah, Zen -- that's probably worth two phone calls...
Arthur Chu continues to be great, this time about the Hugos, and in the process teaching me stuff about the Washington Monument!
