Congratulations, Brenda! It's nice to be appreciated.

I hope this isn't too good to be true: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The "100 times more productive" makes me skeptical.

Seen on the sign of a nearby Presbyterian(I think) church: Resurrection! It's like zombies but a lot more fun!

Alrighty then.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's like zombies but a lot more fun!

I don't know, have they seen iZombie yet? That show is pretty darn fun!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I, for one, welcome our new Scola overlord.

I heard about a test program for that kind of indoor urban farming somewhere a while back. It sounds like a good thing to investigate, anyway.

Man, just got off the phone with my sister. Her household is in like nine different types of transition, just talking to her exhausted me. But none of it is bitter and awful, sounds like, so that's good I guess. And they got my postcard, that's always a relief.

Happy birthday Scola!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kate, that's really wonderful. Gives me hope.

The "100 times more productive" makes me skeptical.

Yeah, but, inside, they have completely controlled conditions. No bugs, no disease, no drought, no flood. Neither seeds nor fertilizer get into the ecosystem. Waste can be easily recycled into compost. With some fruits and vegetables, they can even stack racks of produce on top of each other and grow more in the same area of land than traditional farming. I can believe it's a much more efficient way to grow a lot more food, if it's done right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Just because it's been a really long time since I asked, what are people doing this weekend?

I am mostly playing catch up on my errands, but I hope I can get some walking around outdoors time in, and maybe even get the hammock set up.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Tom!
