Just because it's been a really long time since I asked, what are people doing this weekend?
I am mostly playing catch up on my errands, but I hope I can get some walking around outdoors time in, and maybe even get the hammock set up.

Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Tom!
Congratulations, brenda--it's wonderful to be appreciated and acknowledged.
Happy Birthday, Scola!
Hearing about that makes me happy, Kate.
Same thing we do every weekend, Brain: reading some, writing some, watching down the dvr, cooking, eating, maybe driving around in tulipland, maybe walking a little.
I'm hoping to do some Spring cleaning. Doesn't appear to be happening today, but I have found that the first day after the work week tends to become my doing nothing day, so the rest of the weekend is not written off yet.
Tomorrow morning, of course, the lunar eclipse beckons.
Have a lamb steak marinating, an egg about to be roasted, and the food processor in the dishwasher so I can make charoset. Thinking about firing up the grill and having an outdoor solo seder tonight.
I'm out of olive oil. That's so weird, I am all the time buying olive oil I don't need and yet I am out. I must have shown some self-restraint recently. See where that gets me. I have peanut oil and corn oil and coconut oil and macadamia nut oil and sesame oil, not to mention butter and cream, so it's not like I'm lacking for edible fats, but it has me a little off-kilter.
I had a meara and I lost it. Yay for the Yays and Boo on the rest.
This weekend - search and rescue recruiting meeting, donate/toss/sell/pack the livingroom, and sweet blessed sleep.
In the good news department, the appraisal came in at my offer price which is of the yay. There had been some worry it would come in below list but with the booming market, the comps were tweaked upward and I'm all good. Now everything is in the loan officer's hands and we are due to close in 20 days. So soon and yet so far away.
Yay, Suzi! May the 20 days fly by for you.

I am still trying to decide if I want to be awake for that. Maybe I can set the alarm for 4:30 or so, and then go back to bed.
Totality is around when I usually get up, so I just need to decide how much earlier I want to try for. I'll decide tonight.
Dinner tonight with old friends. Work and/or nothing the rest of the weekend.
I will be doing all of the grading I should have done earlier in Spring Break. I am now Future!Pix giving Past!Pix the stinkeye.
