I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds great, sarameg.

And now that I've seen the deets on FB - I repeat my "Oooooooh" towards amych. Very nice!

That does not sound great, aurelia. Enjoy your beer.

I guess I have accepted that this cheesecake is not going to bake itself. I've gotten as far as making the crust. Instead of graham crackers I'm using coconut macaroons (because Passover), which certainly crumbed up nicely and I think will taste good. Now I'm second-guessing the lemon flavor of the cheesecake itself, maybe lime would be better? The whole things is to be topped with kiwi slices. Supposed to be a Spring Baked Good, whatever that means. Anyone have an opinion?

I'd eat it, however you go!

Fun to send this note:

Dearly Beloveds, I have been assigned as your chauffeur for Saturday's events. As soon as I procure a route for your conveyance, I will provide you with a meet time... and blindfolds, possibly of improvised means. Apologies for that. Please assert your willingness in this should I be pulled over for attempted kidnapping. It would be appreciated and get you to the destination faster.
Delighted to be of service,
-s-

Coconut macaroon crusted cheesecake? That sounds excellent.

Jesse, I think if you were on your way back to normal/had taken steps to deal, that would be something to tell your boss. Though I guess it might not sound super true if you were crying. I hate crying.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Anyone have an opinion?

Yum! Lemon and lime both sound good to me.

Congrats Amych!

Well. My desktop hard drive suddenly started making a deeply worrisome noise and now the computer doesn't think it has a bootable device. So now I have some decisions to make.

Hee, great note!

Ugh, shrift.

OK, I think I will go lemon just because I have not made this recipe before, so maybe minimizing changes makes sense. Thanks!

WOOWOOWOO amych!!!!

I'm thinking about getting another tat for my August birthday. Either forearm or upper back. I may change my mind, but UI'm thinking

"Now that's everything, huh? No weapons...No friends...No hope. Take all that away...and what's left?"

"Me."

Thoughts?

I was just going to vote lime.

My desktop hard drive suddenly started making a deeply worrisome noise and now the computer doesn't think it has a bootable device.

Oh, no. It's catching. I'm still watching my backup download from Carbonite, and I seem to have organized my latest software to some logical place that I can't find. Also, Windows 8.1 has all these things that jump out at me.

I finally got into the BIOS and it doesn't think I have a hard drive OR an optical drive, which explains why it doesn't see the Windows 7 startup DVD.

God damn it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay, amych!

Boo, shrift!

My upstairs neighbor has been serving delicious cocktails (emphasis on the plural there), so that's all I've got. And only autocorrect has gotten me this far, to be honest. That and a lot of back spacing.
