Natter 73: Chuck Norris only wishes he could Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Friend never responded to my FB comment, which I think is the best I can hope for.
You got the last word, that means you win!
Before I had kids, I never ate sugar, but I had such strong dessert cravings while I was pregnant with Aeryn, and the habit never really went away. I still don't add sugar to things that aren't dessert, but I do find myself randomly wanting ice cream (which leads to randomly buying ice cream), which didn't used to happen.
Oh, hey, my already made salad has mozzarella, that's almost just like pizza.
Lucy might be a very good movie, but I just cannot get past the "we only use 10% of our brain" thing.
Sorry, y'all, pre-dinner glass of wine is making me randomly chatty.
Well, they sent us home again. After spending all day with him, I left him well-supplied with apple sauce, bananas, and ginger ale. I also defrosted his refrigerator, scrubbed his kitchen (including the floor), changed his sheets, and reorganized his investment portfolio. Oy.
Now I am crashed on the futon with a glass of wine, really hoping my cell phone does not ring for the next 14 hours.
I can't get past the premise. Using more of your brain lets you change your DNA? Lame.
Ugh Consuela, you've more than earned a day off.
The crazy thing was, this was my day off. And I had three appointments scheduled for Dad, and one for myself.
At least I didn't have to cancel my hair appointment, which is tomorrow.
I don't want a Blizzard. I want the espresso shake the local coffee house makes: vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and a shot of top notch espresso. So good!
I gave up sugar and artificial sweetners for a few weeks, and now I drink coffee with just whole milk. I drink a lot of fizzy water with lime and iced tangerine zinger tea.
Amyth, I'll look forward to hearing your reaction to the latest WtNV episodes.
Steph, I love your shirt in the skating photo!
I hope you are undisturbed, Consuela. That's a lot.
I hope your weekend is better, Consuela.
Mmm, espresso shake. That sounds so good! I think I used to get something like that from Rue de la Course? Somewhere. So simple and so good.
I am making cookies and cream popsicles in an attempt to (a) get my mojo back and (b) have something vaguely like a Blizzard to nom.
