I can't get past the premise. Using more of your brain lets you change your DNA? Lame.

Ugh Consuela, you've more than earned a day off.
The crazy thing was, this was my day off. And I had three appointments scheduled for Dad, and one for myself.
At least I didn't have to cancel my hair appointment, which is tomorrow.
I don't want a Blizzard. I want the espresso shake the local coffee house makes: vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and a shot of top notch espresso. So good!
I gave up sugar and artificial sweetners for a few weeks, and now I drink coffee with just whole milk. I drink a lot of fizzy water with lime and iced tangerine zinger tea.
Amyth, I'll look forward to hearing your reaction to the latest WtNV episodes.
Steph, I love your shirt in the skating photo!
I hope you are undisturbed, Consuela. That's a lot.
I hope your weekend is better, Consuela.
Mmm, espresso shake. That sounds so good! I think I used to get something like that from Rue de la Course? Somewhere. So simple and so good.
I am making cookies and cream popsicles in an attempt to (a) get my mojo back and (b) have something vaguely like a Blizzard to nom.
Steph, I love your shirt in the skating photo!
That was actually a memorial/fundraiser a few years ago for a local guy who was shot and killed by the police when he was unarmed. (The sadly shocking part is that he was a white guy, because it isn't white guys who the cops usually kill around here.) He was a drummer, so the crossbones of the sugar skull are drumsticks.
My favorite ice cream store makes an affogato that I am dying to try, but we are always going there after dinner, and I can't with the coffee 8 o'clock at night or I'll never get to sleep.
Well, popsicle mojo not entirely regained, although I have a much better success rate with my older single-serving quick pop maker than with the new three-serving one, so I feel a little bit justified in blaming my tools some.
