So I just finished signing the deed in lieu paperwork for the bank. The notary came to my house and we sat down at the dining room table and took care of business. BoA will have it back on Monday, and the last thing to do is schedule the walk-through to make sure the house is in broom-swept condition and I didn't take appliances or fixtures or otherwise damage it. I'm still not sure what day I will no longer have financial responsibility for the house in Frederick, but it's soon. I can't believe I made it here.

Seriously, I have three pillars holding up my non-spiral into a flipping depresso/anxiety plummet through this whole house thing: yoga, meds and people. I think because of the yoga and you, and my fam, SH and meatspace friends, I am ABLE to take my meds responsibly and actually am FLOURISHING now, even though it's a real financial and stress mess.

I'm not sure how I feel about all of this coming to an end. I thought I would feel relief, but right now I'm just sad. I loved that house, right up to the point where I couldn't anymore, and there's not a small bit of feeling like I failed because I didn't pay my debts as agreed. It's a jumble inside my head.

I keep saying I'm going to get rid of 3/4 of my shit, but I keep not doing it.

A funeral and a lot of travel slowed my decluttering to a stop, but I need to get back on the wagon this weekend. I want to recycle some electronics and call to see if the donation place is willing to pick up boxes of books.

I've totally failed on de cluttering. I need ms belle to come kick my ass and tell me which clothes to get rid of. :)

That's the holiday where everyone has a picnic in the park, yes? I love that one. I'm not Persian, but every spring there's a park in Irvine that fills with families and feasting and people playing and someone always passes along a plate of something tasty to anyone walking through the park that day.

This seems like a perfectly reasonable excuse to not having dealt with your own clutter.

Scandal: Holy Shit! I should have seen that twist coming with Huck, but I really didn't. I also think the story with Mellie running for President while her husband is still in office is kind of ridiculous, but I see why they would want to do it that way.

That sounds like a glorious tradition, picnic in the park, sharing with passersby, I can just see kids just gathering together to play, not even bothering about knowing who everyone is, everybody just celebrating Spring-time, happy and neighborly.
