Zen, also, there are some small places in DC - the only ones that come to mind are the Windsor Inn (on 16th Street, NW) and an Adams Morgan bed and breakfast type place on Lanier Street, NW.

Tim vacuumed like crazy last night, although we need to check the closet this weekend. (I don't think I have anything wool in the closet, because wool makes me itch. However, apparently they like dark places, so I'm braced to find them in the closet.)

Raining here. Boo yah! It is my weekend to work/be on call. Looks like all the work will be cancelled. Hellyes! The guys are all mad at me, it has rained out my weekends almost 90% of the time in the last 9 - 10 months. We need the work as we are behind the planned goals for the year already, BUT I DO NOT CARE! I have a mani scheduled and can now sleep in.

amych, glad that it went well. Fingers are still crossed for you.
So I just finished signing the deed in lieu paperwork for the bank. The notary came to my house and we sat down at the dining room table and took care of business. BoA will have it back on Monday, and the last thing to do is schedule the walk-through to make sure the house is in broom-swept condition and I didn't take appliances or fixtures or otherwise damage it. I'm still not sure what day I will no longer have financial responsibility for the house in Frederick, but it's soon. I can't believe I made it here.
