I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Apparently it's traditional in Cincinnati for lenders and title companies to procrastinate until the last minute, then run around like chickens with their heads cut off the day before the closing.

We've never had a closing that didn't involve us having to chase people for information. I hate it.

How will they know you're serious if you don't hound them? You could just have a hobby of applying for mortgages and then blowing them off.

HOW DO YOU DO HALF A WORKOUT???

I believe it's traditional everywhere.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Poke?

Oh sorry, it's like Hawaiian cevice. Raw tuna cubed up and marinated in yumminess. I ate mine with half and avocado, because I am such a cliched Angeleno sometimes. (Note: have not tried a raw juice cleanse, so haven't completely succumbed yet.)

I'm interested in buying a region-free DVD player (dammit, BBC, put out Victorian Farm in Region 1!). They seem easily affordable, and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to buy something like this online.

I had reasonable luck buying a region free DVD/Blu Ray player online, Connie. And when I ran into a technical glitch over a year after buying it, tech support was very responsive and cleared everything up. I used 220 Electronics. [link] The site doesn't look like much, but I liked their customer service.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've bought two refurbished region-free players online and both have worked perfectly.

Excellent, now to find out that I can plug into my computer as well as my TV (I like hunching over my 17" laptop screen).
