Generally, most people feel fine the day of chemo, and start feeling it the day after. It's a good idea to have something like Ensure on hand to make sure she gets enough nutrition if she doesn't feel like eating.

Thanks, Ginger! She already has some Ensure, because the current issue includes mouth sores that make eating unpleasant, so that's "good."
