Taking advantage of the internet at this coffee shop to post. Tea in Newcastle before seeing Hadrian's Wall. Did not bring coal.

Good thing you didn't!
Timelies all!
Ended up getting apple pie a la mode at the concert.(Which was fun and had a wider variety of a capella styles than usual)
Totally skipped 150 posts to say:
Last night was kind of surreal. I was introduced, at a restaurant, to Cary Elwes, who stood up like a gentleman and shook my hand, and Mitch Peleggi, and a host of actresses from "Lost Girl", and ended up hanging out at the Musician's Foundation, unbeknownst to me until we were leaving, with Sean Gunn, who did the motion capture for Rocket the Raccoon in GotG and was in Gilmore Girls, and is James Gunn's brother.
And today Dan and I get to go to Planet Comicon. Free. HUGE DEAL. I think I may get to meet J, August Richards. MAYBE. BIG maybe. What a weird, fun, geeky evening.
I will be living on coffee and nerd power today. Got in at 5 a.m. Oh, my head. Total props to Mitzi Trout, my college roommate in Sin City.
I girdeth my loins with water, coffee, ibuprofen and sunglasses. And comfy shoes and a geeky tee.
That sounds amazing!
In less-exciting snow melting news, there is natural light in my basement for the first time since January!
Sigh, just as I had a clear sidewalk, we're being socked under with snow again. I did an early shovel around 8, and I don't feel like going back out there. Oz and I have been on the couch all morning. (He, of course, scammed the prime spot while I was making breakfast.)
Looking for the like button on Strix's post.
Hey! My neighbour has snowblowed the sidewalk and my walk. Yay.
Nice!
Strix, that's awesome!
If you know where I work, you may have seen us in the news this week.... ugh. These are the times that checking email on the weekend pays off, though -- my grandboss asked for some information by 9:30 tomorrow, and I got back to him in a couple of hours.
