Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Yeah, I drink a lot of fizzy water, and occasionally iced tea.

But then I remembered that Cincinnati has a place called Putz' Creamy Whip that I've never been to, and now I'm thinking road trip. Because PUTZ' CREAMY WHIP.

That sounds excellent! ....now I am adding to my desire to go get ice cream later. Which since it's only 10:15AM is a bit early.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have only tried it once or twice, so haven't explored as many flavors as you have, shrift.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

but somehow I haven't cut down on my glass of wine in the evening even though I know that's probably my main source of sugar at this point.

A glass of wine a day is good for you! You should totally enjoy that and not worry about the sugar.

We have La Croix at my office sometimes, so I've been able to explore the flavor ranges a bit without first committing to an 8 or 12 pack.

I'm going to have a chocolate mini-cupcake for dessert.

I would like to point out to the concern troll that when I'm on chemo, sometimes the only thing that appeals to me is something in the milkshake family that can be acquired via a drive-thru.

You are made of awesome.

That was one of the things I was thinking about in my reply. I didn't think it was necessary to elaborate on all the possible reasons why a Person Of Unapproved Size might be eating something with unsightly calories -- but if Concern Troll friend pushes back, I already have a list in my head.

Although it really all comes back to: why is it any of your damn business what someone who you don't even know is eating? Literally, why do you care? I can't think of any legit reason, short of "Hey, that dude is eating a baby."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would be concerned that said dude was a troll, in that case.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I take it back about the Blizzard -- now I just want Putz's Creamy Whip, because WHAT?

Well played, -t. Well played.

That's pretty much everyone's first reaction to the name. But the ice cream is good stuff. And conveniently right around the corner from my house! (Okay, more like a 5-minute drive; does that count as "around the corner"?)

Unrelated to anything, I think I'm getting a cold, which is NOT ON. I used to get sick and/or injured every time we went on vacation, and I crowed to Tim last week that I managed to avoid getting sick despite the presence of 3 kids under 6 years old, and avoided injury despite sleeping in a sketchy bed, getting pummeled every day by the waves, AND roller-skating for the first time in 30+ years.

But I don't think getting sick today is a leftover from vacation; that's a little too long. I'ma blame my dentist, who I saw Tuesday. So I have chicken soup and am considering a therapeutic nap.
