Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

-t, the Van Gogh museum is one of my very favorites. I would go back to Amsterdam in a heartbeat.

Hooray for Moving!flea.

She is so ridiculously in love with this dog. It's the funniest thing ever. Very unDarbylike.

Thus ever with the ways of the heart

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Shortbread crust is cooling and strawberries are macerating for a Pi Day Strawberry Pie.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to this open house! [link]

It's on the outside edge of our affordability range, but waaaaaay undermarket for Brooklyn in general. And it's near the subway and closer to Dylan's school (which Aeryn will be attending next year).

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My sister and I both took pie crusts out of the freezer for Pi/pie day. So she will make one today and I'll make one tomorrow. And we will take Dad to see What These Latino Runners Need is a Honky Coach McFarland, USA, and have burgers.

I also bought a ton of groceries, which was unwise. And I went for a run this morning, which was slower and shorter than I planned: I think I have not recovered from yesterday's extra-long run.

flea, I'm so excited for you! New house!

Waiting on the plumber to check my drains.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I like that house, Jessica!

Passport applications are now filed, with no bloody accidents this time. I was expecting a long wait, since this particular city service center only has one four-hour open slot on the weekend, but we were the only ones there.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have no idea what beth bought at the farmers market.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Click clack sofa bed, brenda.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Glad to hear the pavement behaved itself this time, Susan. And even better -- no lines!

I do understand brenda's confusion. They don't sell sofa beds at my local farmer's market.

It is hotter than a mofo here today, or at least my body isn't prepared for July weather in March. Luckily it served as a good excuse to get ice cream!

Now I've moved on to the afternoon's pairing of Shiraz and grading. woot!

Wow, Jess, that house would fit in right up the street from me! Same style on the outside. Given the vintage, not too surprising, except it predates mine by a year and those up the street are mid to late thirties. NY a trendsetter , I guess!

Dough chilling, bed out together, cats claw trimmed, dinner being eaten. On track.

ha -- that would have been much easier if they did sell them at the farmers market -- I was just listing stuff done.

a t the farmers market I bought leeks, spinach, blood oranges and broccoli.

we had to go out of town to a furniture place to by the c/c - whihc have been llooking for but not finding...

if that had been at the farmer's market we would have had to bring it home on bicycles. the suburu was bad enough
