this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If the close is at 9:30, and I'm estimating it will take an hour, I expect to be there by 11 or so. So any time after that - maybe we can coordinate by phone day of.

That works for me. It's on my calendar now, so I won't turn into Old Forgetful.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Dylan is back from the Pi Day 5K, so we're about to make a second attempt at getting Annabel's passport--we were on the way to do so last Saturday when I had my unfortunate encounter with a sidewalk cutout square last week, leading to stitches, pain, etc. Wish us better luck this time! If all goes well we're going out for sushi after. Which isn't pie, but oh well. If I'm feeling really inspired I'll attempt bourbon chocolate pecan pie for dessert tonight.

information libertarian

Things that are stored in our garage get SO FILTHY. Ugh.

It is a gorgeous day, though. Although still slightly damp. But the sun is trying to come out!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

-t, the Van Gogh museum is one of my very favorites. I would go back to Amsterdam in a heartbeat.

Hooray for Moving!flea.

She is so ridiculously in love with this dog. It's the funniest thing ever. Very unDarbylike.

Thus ever with the ways of the heart

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Shortbread crust is cooling and strawberries are macerating for a Pi Day Strawberry Pie.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to this open house! [link]

It's on the outside edge of our affordability range, but waaaaaay undermarket for Brooklyn in general. And it's near the subway and closer to Dylan's school (which Aeryn will be attending next year).

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My sister and I both took pie crusts out of the freezer for Pi/pie day. So she will make one today and I'll make one tomorrow. And we will take Dad to see What These Latino Runners Need is a Honky Coach McFarland, USA, and have burgers.

I also bought a ton of groceries, which was unwise. And I went for a run this morning, which was slower and shorter than I planned: I think I have not recovered from yesterday's extra-long run.

flea, I'm so excited for you! New house!

Waiting on the plumber to check my drains.

I like that house, Jessica!

Passport applications are now filed, with no bloody accidents this time. I was expecting a long wait, since this particular city service center only has one four-hour open slot on the weekend, but we were the only ones there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Click clack sofa bed, brenda.
