tommy, I know the perfect place for pie, well, actually three places all owned by the same family--Monty's Blue Plate Diner, Bluephies, and the Hubbard Avenue Diner. We just won't go during a meal time, UW men's basketball means Madison is going to be overrun with alumni and they're going to take over all the best restaurants.

Maria, rather than burnout, could it just be TOO FUCKING MUCH WORK?
It's entirely possible. I've had to toss RFPs to the side just because we don't have the time to respond to them. I could spend my entire life at work just responding to RFPs and be swamped, but I also have other duties. I'm beginning to dislike working from home, because the computer is there and I can just hop on for a "quick second" to take care of something. Two hours later, I surface.

I feel this. I'm trying REALLY HARD to stop working at a given time and not go back, no matter what. But that's kind of a challenge.
Sent Franny to school with apple pie to celebrate pi day festivities in her math class. DH is going too. She's memorized 80+ digits of pi, but she will have stiff competition for the pi contest.
80 digits of pi?? Damn girl!
For some reason, pi just really captures her imagination.
Supposedly the school-wide winner last year memorized 220+ digits, which just boggles me.
Wow!

Pie? Pie!
There's a bakery called O Pie O scheduled to open this spring (Teppy, in East Walnut Hills) but they seem to have missed the wonderful possibilities of opening tomorrow.
We will be celebrating Pi day at home tomorrow. Flavor of pie as yet undetermined, but we will be using the baking dish with the number written around the rim.
