I don't like Thai food any more. It's all too sweet, even the hot curries!
Wow.
I once went with a roommate to DQ during a snowstorm and we were like, "Can you guess what we want?" The guy behind the counter could only say, "Ice Cream?"
My grandpa used to take me to DQ for a vanilla soft-serve cone dipped in chocolate. That, and the occasional banana split, are the only things I've ever eaten from DQ, AFAIR. I don't want a Blizzard (I'm not real sure what a Blizzard is, I assume an ice cream confection) but I strongly support the right of anyone who wants one to eat it, in public even, if they want to. Concern trolls piss me off.
eta Also, what brenda said.
I'd take a blizzard. Though what I really wanted last night was to stop at the frozen custard place. Maybe tonight. Mmm.

Other splitter! This is exactly how the Judean People's Front got started.

That is hilarious.
I have backed away from sugar, but clearly I'm never going to give it up completely if it means I won't like Thai food anymore.
I think you handled that really well, Steph, and I'm also glad that her concern trolling seems to be backfiring.
I personally don't want a Blizzard, because dairy and I aren't getting along lately. But everyone who wants a Blizzard should have one, and it's no one's damn business if they do.
I have backed away from sugar
With the exception of vacation (dessert every night! Literally half the items in the freezer were ice cream of some sort! Nutella crepes!), I've cut way back on sugar, because I have concerns about its role in inflammation. Otherwise I'd still be eating it like I'm The Fly.
At this point I don't plan to cut it out completely; just stop the cookie habit and general sweets-every-night habit. (Which I had done before vacation, and then those damn scotcheroos and Nutella crepes got me.) t edit I also put Nutella ON an ice-cream bar, because I could. Good stuff.

Whoa! That's just crazy talk! But then, I think the "giving up sugar" (and OMG, not liking Thai food anymore??) is scary too. :) I'm quite certain it would be good for me, but...but...(also, what would I put in my coffee in the morning? Just cream?)
