Well, this movie is giving full ridiculousness, but he hasn't taken his coat or shirt off yet. Come on, dumb movie!

Thrive to spite them

It takes awhile for the shirt to come off.

The ridiculousness never wavers.

Yeah, the lovely scene in the pond. It's a nice coat, though.

I have apparently forgotten how to make popsicles. Fortunately, letting them melt and trying again is totally an option but - really, self?

What's to forget? How did you fail at popsicles?? I mean....I guess if they were too boozy and wouldn't freeze?

I went on the annual alumni boat cruise from my college this evening. Lots of fun, extremely odd group of people. Including an incoming freshman, a woman who sold her software business and moved to Croatia for 10 years because she thought her son would do better there (???), and an ex-English professor from North Carolina (who'd gone to our school undergrad) who moved here to detox from opiate addiction. Who got very drunk. But was entertaining.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Surgery ~ma for your BIL, Scrappy.

I am awake at 4am. It's nice and cool. I know the cool weather won't last, but man, I'm enjoying it.

Surgery ~ma for your brother-in-law, Scrappy.

Here's to finding the next and better thing, Plei!

Continued raging-against-the-machine ~ma, sarameg.

I was in a car for nine hours yesterday (round trip for a meeting a Clemson University) and today I drive to Arlington. But by tonight I should be caught up on Welcome to Night Vale! Calli, we can finally talk about it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow.. Lots of professional rearrangement going on these past couple weeks.

My big irritation is my lapse in insurance so I can't pick up meds to go to the ER if needed (I"m one awkward fall away, but it's Friday, I can make it to big D day).

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yikes, ita!

Today I swear I'm taking care of several annoying-unto-Onerous tasks. Preferably before 10 AM, even. Then I can slack, right?

Imagine that being your life??? I could pay for the procedure out of pocket because all the acans and diagnoses had been covered before. Plus, I'm re-sumbitting once my carriers have me back in the paper work.

But I'm still favouring the left, and I'm LUCKY. For some people this is/was life.

Oh, and I gotta get FSA all organised.

Today:

  • bring NAS for inspection
  • cut hair
  • have parking lot dinged mirror inspected
  • visit art store
  • learn to draw
  • rewrite resume as functional
  • Maybe have brakes checked out
