Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Every time I hear it! I mean, no one said anything??

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Meep, JZ. Maybe you can tuck the unease away for the weekend, it's not doing you any good right now.

Fantastic coat!

Where is this back seat of the Subaru thing from?

I am all for the "meara and Jesse are awesome" show.

The ad is about a little kid, so it's like she said her first word in the car or whatever, but STILL.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

But no, they show the girl growing up and that line comes where she's about 15.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Are we talking about Empire anywhere? I am watching the pilot, and I am pretty sure it is based off The Lion in WInter.

Oh yeah! Even worse! It's when she's "graduated" to sitting in the front seat and the mom gets sentimental.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sophia, A bit of Othello too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

According to that one line in the pilot, it's King Lear.

Empire/Nashville night is one of my favorite nights on TV.

(Note, I have no idea if these shows actually air on the same night, because I am always Tivo-delayed. In our house, they are a double-header because soapy melodramas with music = awesomesauce, and Empire is an excellent antidote to all of Nashville's white-people-problems.)
