Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

both of us - fold and put away clothes from drying racks - halfway done, waiting for rest to dry
me - vacuum front room - carpet and furniture (damn animals)
me - use up as much of the perishable food as I can (lunch will be a big salad and left over chicken, guac for mac?, baked potatoes for dinner?, sautéed greens for me) 2 egg scrambles done and all breakfast sausage cooked
both of us - vacuum respective bedrooms, put away clothes
both of us - pack - mac has laid out his clothes for me to check
me - litter boxes
mac - vacuum furniture in backroom
me - DEAL WITH THE PAPER EVERYWHERE
me - upload medical bills to fsa
me - start taxes? (honestly probably not)
me - check all bills to make sure are paid
me - food scraps to compost.

it is never as simple as just doing it. Since I am trying to do a deeper than normal clean, I was moving furniture in my bedroom. Found a place where cat had peed. Gross and extra cleaning time. Then because I am me, I decided to change the furniture arrangement a bit. But, now it is done and taking a break. Front room next. mac is choosing to sit and watch things on his phone rather than vacuum the furniture in backroom and JUST GET IT DONE. teenagers are dumb.

I have been workin (3 hrs of meetings down) and made banana bread with pecans and snickerdoodles. And then I shoveled the walks and 4 parking spaces and moved my car to my preferred space. It'll have to be shoveled again because it is still coming down, but whatever.

I think I shall make more boozy snickerdoodles tonight and tomorrow (I'm probably working from home tomorrow too.)

Go msbelle!!

Instead of a lunch break, I took a shower break (perk or downside of working from home). Got back to my work just in time to talk with Nanita's cousin, who sounds awesome. She is going to talk with her network of folks to find me a person in Colorado. But even when I explained the big picture of what I'm trying to work with, she was positive and said that it should all be very workable.

I promise, once this gets rolling, I'll quit with the play by play. Just going a bit nuts and y'all have such spicy brains that help me.

Our wings are not tired

I'm having some microwave pasta thing.

I haven't mentioned it here, but I haven't been to a fast food restaurant since November, and also have not had a soft drink since November. With my typical work schedule this is a huge hurdle for me to overcome, but it's something that has needed to happen.

I don't even particularly like fast food all that much, I'm just always on the go, so it's about eating what's at hand.

I've mainly switched to where when I'm in hurry I run into something like 7-11 and at least pick up a salad or sandwich and a water. Still not perfect, but much better than a burger and fries with a coke.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Suzi, I meant to say that it sounded dumb that the CU person looked at your years-old credit score. I mean, isn't the point that you would be applying now and not then? She did not seem like the right person to work with.

But maybe you guys don't have meat hot sauce?

We do not have meat hot sauce. What is it??

Widowhood has improved my credit score a great deal. Capital One has a section that tracks your score, and I've been enjoying watching the line trend up. I've even begun playing "what happens if I pay off this bill now instead of then?"

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I think 2 days is a VERY short turnaround time, but I am not the one who came up with that policy.

After years of testing on human subjects and engineers, I determined that three business days is the ideal amount of review time. Less time and they squawk; more time, and they put it off and forget about it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Like in Swingers, "Three days"

FoodMaxx only had giant bags of shredded cheese and no sour cream at all, but they did have a single-serving tub of Panera Mac & Cheese, so I have dumped that in the crock-pot. We'll see. Was successful in getting Fritos.

Suzi, Maureen makes stuff happen. I am so glad you spoke with her! She is Charlie's niece by the way, so not blood cousin but cousin all the same.

Suzi, I meant to say that it sounded dumb that the CU person looked at your years-old credit score.

Oh, she was looking at it instead of doing a "hard pull", which then counts against my credit score. Trying not to do that until I'm ready to commit to starting this. I mean, I'm ready, just need to get connected with the right loan officer and then it is full steam ahead.

So she was just working with what information she could find to help guide me. If I'd had an open loan with the CU, she could have done a "soft pull" of my current score.
