That is my gut feeling, Maria. One of my good friends is an insurance agent and she gave me the name of a local mortgage broker that many of her friends have used. I'll contact him tomorrow and see what I get there.
For now, a glass of Templeton Rye and some Harry Potter are in order.
Suzi, my cousin Maureen would be happy to either help you herself, or refer you to someone. She works for iMortgage and I got my first mortgage through her. She's extremely responsive and helpful, and her assistants are the same. Lemme know if you want her info.
Does her last name start with a T? I think I found her on their website. Maybe an e-mail of introduction?
While I had that recommendation from my friend, their company has no web presence which just seems odd in this day and age. Plus, trying to coordinate buying a house in Colorado with a co-signer in California, I want a company who can roll with that.
It does indeed! iMortgage is national. Want to me to send an email to you both right now?
So we are now the owners of a new kitten. Our sitter, after spending a whole afternoon with her, agreed that she's used to belong to the neighbors but they appear to have abandoned her. Our sitter tried to lure her into her own house but her cat objected strenuously. So her loss is our gain. YAY!
We are leaning towards calling her Luna, because she's the color of the full moon and she's very good to love.
Not sure if this works, but Luna
Yay!! And Luna really fits that kitten.
I can't see Luna but congrats on your new addition. I'm sure she is happy to have a wonderful new home.
Nanita, yes please. I have been tooling around their website and playing with their calculators (getting results that matched the numbers in my head).
Yay kitten!
Suzi, do you know you need a cosigner or are you assuming? That could be limiting your options unnecessarily.
Both my mortgages were sold more or less instantly. Work with who makes you feel ok now, but that will change.
