While I had that recommendation from my friend, their company has no web presence which just seems odd in this day and age. Plus, trying to coordinate buying a house in Colorado with a co-signer in California, I want a company who can roll with that.

So we are now the owners of a new kitten. Our sitter, after spending a whole afternoon with her, agreed that she's used to belong to the neighbors but they appear to have abandoned her. Our sitter tried to lure her into her own house but her cat objected strenuously. So her loss is our gain. YAY!
We are leaning towards calling her Luna, because she's the color of the full moon and she's very good to love.

Both my mortgages were sold more or less instantly. Work with who makes you feel ok now, but that will change.
I'm assuming based on the fact that I haven't used any credit for the last 7 years, just been working to pay off the pre divorce debt.
And that is one of my questions. Can I start the process alone and the add my dad if needed or is it better to start with him? I don't want to get into escrow and have it be a thing.

Thank you for your condolences, eight months later. I know it can be difficult to travel a block, and perhaps you had no idea what to say to me the times we've come face to face in the past few months.
It was very kind of you to reassure me that you only had problems with my late husband and that you bear me no ill will. I will be sure to remember that you want to be my friend and you hope I'll come to you if I need help.
