Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

shrift, I'm so sorry. And it's not at all wrong to have conflicting feelings.

Oh shrift, I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm icing my foot again. I hate plantar woes and pain.

The kids and I and Jane did a race in Chinatown with K as our pit crew. Man, having a third adult is the only thing that made that work at all.

I cam home and had a whisky slushie and am feeling better. But a nap would really help.

Our wings are not tired

I'm spending yet another Sunday sitting at the computer working in Excel.

That does not sound like a good time, ND.

ND, not that it helps, but I've been in Excel for the last 7 hours and I'm no where near where I had hoped to be at this point. Arrrrrggggg. The contracting group at Pacific Gas & Electric can bite me.

Maybe a quarter of the lawn left to mow.

It is not nearly as big a yard as it sounds like from how long it takes me to mow it.

Whereas I was shoveling slush and am watching ice build up on everything.

I was supposed to go to the big flea market today but my niece cancelled so instead I did the dishes and vacuumed and booked a flight for a trip I'm taking with a friend.

I should probably go buy cottage cheese for TNG.

Calling the yard mowed. Good enough. Pretty much all out of Will to Be Productive, although there's certainly plenty I should still be doing.

Our wings are not tired

I got one of my onerous tasks done, now I'm moving onto the next set of them.

I'm also wondering how my inbox is back up over 200 messages, when I just got it down to 50 less than 36 hours ago. These aren't unread, these are just un-filed. I get so much email across so many accounts that I have to really keep on top of filing it into electronic folders or I don't stand a chance to find things.

ND, not that it helps, but I've been in Excel for the last 7 hours and I'm no where near where I had hoped to be at this point.

I know that feeling far too well. I seem to find myself staring at spreadsheets and databases far too often for someone with two art degrees.
