RELEASE THE LLAMAS!
Natter 73: Chuck Norris only wishes he could Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
msbelle, I don't really have any advice, but I will say that I did hardly any homework at home, but I have a pretty good work ethic. I was pretty motivated by grades, though, so if I was dipping below a B, I would have done it.
I just watched this show on Netflix called Brain Games, which sort pretty much explained the white/blue/gold/black dress thing, even though it was made in 2011. The weirdest thing is that they also dealt with hearing, and told you to close your eyes while foley artists worked. One sound I correctly identified was twisting a bunch of celery in half! I was supposed to hear it as a breaking spine, but I was like.... that sounds like someone twisting celery and it was!
...and that kids, is how February 26th became National Internet Day, and why we decorate llamas in white and gold"
Totally want this to happen!!
Oh, I watched some of that when it aired. Hosted by NPH IIRC. I wonder if that's still tucked away on my DVR or if I gave up on getting around to the rest of it...
ETA: Have put Llama Drama Day as a repeating Event on my calendar even though I still have not seen any of the llama chase. I do like commemorating stuff.
Was the white llama wearing gold and the black llama wearing blue?
Yes. [link]
This was actually the first image of the llamas I saw because I didn't have time for internet yesterday.
"The Senator with the Snowball" was the news item that caught my attention this morning. [link]
There is an actual senator named Whitehouse? That's terrific.
I was weirded out enough by that dress that I had to see if it came in other colors because I just don't see royal blue in the one photo, and it weirds me out that royal blue can be overexposed enough to make it look white. And I did find this. But no gold.
I need to get some decaf coffee. I made extra regular today, with the intent of drinking it in a leisurely manner, but forgot about that and drank it all down, and now I'm jangly! But I do like the idea of extra coffee volume on the weekend.
I call decaf broken coffee. Accidental experiment with it made me think I was getting sick!
Market done, now time to hop in the car and fill in the gaps. Like the juice I never got last weekend due to the storm.
Heh. I just can't deal with extra caffeine. But I really like coffee!
