I enjoy that, in a dark way. People look at it and flinch, and I like seeing people be disturbed by contemplating how it feels.

From what publicly available info I've seen, Nimoy seemed to have a good, long life. I'm glad he shared his Spock with us. May he rest in peace or move on to an even groovier stage in the universal cycle.
OK, have applied coffee, tea, Flonase, Nasalcrom, Claritin, Aleve, miso soup, shirred eggs, and chocolate covered espresso beans and have gotten the headache I woke up with to recede. Time to get this day underway.
I'm still in Puerto Vallarta, but everyone else has left and I'm just killing a last half hour (and one more beer) before heading to the airport. It was a great week and I'm not really looking forward to going back to work on Monday--glad I have the weekend at home to prepare. Also not looking forward to going back on my diet, but definitely feeling like its a good idea to do so.
I always think of Conan the Barbarian when I see the word Nasalcrom or any cold remedy using the syllable crom. Perhaps it comes from Conan invoking Crom when he has a cold.
