I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

TOM HARDY wins all of my ovaries as of late, whether I like his character or no, it's TH all the way.

I don't get the Idris, or the Cho, but yes'm on Evans and Ruffalo (the latter in a rumpled way), yes on ScarJo. I think Scarlett, right now, is only bested in terms of beauty by Rosamund Pike, whom I find ethereally exquisite.

But THardy is where I'm at these days, with his chameleonism, his little boy lost eyes on and off screen, his engaging interviews. I prefer him less beefy, though. I like to see shoulders as separate body parts from necks or jaws. When they meet is just disturbing.

I really think I'm just infatuated with the actor, because I can't think of a single character he's played that does it for me, or that I have to obsessively watch over and over again. I just need more TH in my life, whatever persona he's taken on as of late.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Hey Juliebird, I linked to that JGL video upthread last night. Did you perhaps see it here?

Always Anti-fascist!

I like John Cho, but I'm not sure that I fancy him. But it's kind of insulting to him that he can't be the star in a romantic comedy instead of the Ryan of the moment.(I actually like those guys, but they do blend together for me.Kind of like Dermot Mulroney and Hot Guy From The Practice Whose Name I never remember) Why Can't there be a buddy comedy with John Cho and, like, Adam Beach in it?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Julie, I'm really sorry about the poor goats. I love goats; it makes me sad. I donated a little and will donate more when I get paid. I hope they're able to rebuild the barn and their flock.

I love John Cho.

I am very much into my snowstorm drinking, and I've gotten my neighbor to watch Justified.

My brother's lost power complete with arcing line in the front yard and a neighbor car was tree smashed. He's hopeful about power resolution because several of his neighbors work for Bama Power and were out tamping the lines when it happened.

I've honestly had such a day I'm not tracking. Found something that after swim meditation might spike the project install dates. I'm not sure. But it is troublesome, holy hell. And I want this project to go live successfully so I CAN STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. It transitions our account services to another team, and I'm sure they'll fuck it up, but it will no longer be our responsibility and we're the trailblazers Yahdahyahdah. I'm willing to let them fuck it up to a degree because they need to learn and it is past time. But jesuschrist, clearly they don't understand testing. And they are our IT dept! At this point, I'm willing to make a public example of them. And point out how we do it right. I'm that done. Pouring the fuel and flicking my cig.

I'm sorry about the goats, Juliebird.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Floridians might be insane, but they're kind of nutty about manatees, the way the British are about hedgehogs.
