Shit. My mom just let me know that my grandpa is in the hospital and we may be at a point where they have to decide whether they're turning off life support.
I've already gotten plenty of perspective and we're not even two months into the year, universe. 2015 is on notice.

I only wear black shoes. Occasionally I buy a pair of red shoes, but I never end up wearing them.
The only brown-ish shoes I have are my winter boots, which do not count as fashion accessories, so there.

I often wear brown shoes with khaki/cargo pants (in tan-ish colors), especially the pair that came with a brown belt. With black pants? Nuh and uh.

I so wanted black winter boots but they were out of the styles I liked so I got brown boots. Which I wear all the time with black pants.
I figure the brown doesn't count if they could be turned white after walking through salty slush.
