I cannot bring myself to wear brown shoes with any black clothing. Brown shoes are only for jeans+{non-black top}.
I feel that. That was me, until this winter, when I stopped giving a crap. (Also, I don't currently have black shoes I like that go with jeans, so it's ballet flats or brown grandpa shoes.)

Dang, this conversation makes me want new shoes. I already wanted exercise shoes, now I want the aforementioned wing tips too. And a new pair of dress sandals would be good.

I love those grampa shoes and have several similar pairs! Ever since I had foot surgery, I gave up on "cute" shoes. Comfortable is queen. If they happen to be cute too, that's just a perk.

Shit. My mom just let me know that my grandpa is in the hospital and we may be at a point where they have to decide whether they're turning off life support.
