Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Scar Jo has a funny nose. That doesn't keep her from being a great person, but being a great beauty... Its weird to me when someone funny looking is held up as gorgeous.

Of course, I'm one of three people who disliked whadoyou call it, that movie in Japan.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Now Hemsworth is a big blond who totally trips my trigger. I also find Scarlett Johansson hot, although more so now than when she was younger. Her face seems more expressive and interesting now.

Well, my flight is still listed as delayed but happening. However, I'm looking at the webcams of unmoving traffic near the airport, and also looking out my window. And I'm starting to weigh up eating the entire cost of the plane ticket vs. possibly paying a car repair deductible and other emergency fees.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Lost in Translation.

I haven't been seriously fixated on any actor's looks since, like, Angelina Jolie in Hackers.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Well, that's a good one to fixate on.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You know who does nothing for me but I feel should? Chris Hemsworth.

That man is FOINE. Though mostly as Thor, I should note. He didn't do a lot for me in the Snow White movie.

Maybe I just think all the Avengers are hot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I only saw Hackers recently, and that movie is hilarious. Angelina Jolie looks like a Vulcan in it, I think.

ScarJo has a great rack. For what that's worth.

I think you all know how I feel about The Hems. (Hot is how.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, I hated Hackers when it was in the theater.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

As in so many other things, I am like Steph: Chris Pine and Henry Cavill are attractive but do nothing for me, either. I just like looking at Chris Evans. Matt Bomer is another one who's gorgeous, but I wouldn't take him to bed (even if he were inclined to go there). I just like looking at him. Hiddleston and Mison, OTOH? Yeah, the tall lanky angular-faced Brit thing is apparently my jam.

I like a lot of things that are considered "masculine", in furniture and otherwise. We as a culture really need to ditch this stupid gender-based assessment of everything.

But I can't think of very many weird looking women even working.

Tilda Swinton. Can't think of any other women with "interesting" faces, though.

Also, wow, Chris Evans brought one of his BFFs from childhood as his date, and dude. She was really spectacularly hot. Like, really, really, really hot.

See, I thought she was cute, but not remarkably pretty.

To hear the straight guys talk Scarlett Johansson is the most attractive person who's ever lived. She's pretty, but I don't think she's a great beauty of the ages or anything. Lupita Nyong'o and Rita Ora were the women I thought were stunning at the Oscars.

I think Scarlett's the sexy kind of beautiful, rather than "classic", while Lupita Nyong'o is stunningly perfect. Rita Ora just looks regular pretty to me, and blonde hair doesn't work on her.

See also: her photos with Dita where she's butched up and holy moly.

Lord, yes. Not many women can do femme and butch equally well, and you wouldn't think it'd be Scarlett until you see her do butch.

You know who does nothing for me but I feel should? Chris Hemsworth.

Ditto. Just, nothing. Oh, you know who shouldn't do it for me but does? Avengers Hulk. Not Ruffalo/Banner (although him too, more Banner than Ruffalo, whatever, brain) but Hulk. Yeah, the CGI green guy they built off Ruffalo. Whoever plays The Mountain on GoT gets a similar reaction. There's something really wrong with me, I guess. I just like stupidly huge strong men.

Maybe I just think all the Avengers are hot.

Now that's a distinct possibility.

I'm working. Really, I am. I'm just distracting myself from the boredom with thoughts of unattainable peoples' relative hotness.

Because books.

He didn't do a lot for me in the Snow White movie.

Oh, the Huntsman. Yum. I think it was the surly attitude, which probably says something about me.
