Didn't have to do anything on my walks, but finished clearing the car and 2 other spaces, which was fortuitous because S&J had to abandon their car on 39th last night and were going to get it. They cleared an extra space too. And gave me homemade potato salad!
Everything is melting. I'm really concerned about ice tonight.
Drawing salve, as hippie as it sounds, is good for an incipient boil/pimple. Well, a salve that's actually Ichthammol.
The science, as I understand it, is that it irritates the site, thins the skin a little, increases blood-flow and bobs yer uncle, the little bitch crests. I've used it on ingrown hairs all too often.
Rite aid carries it as draw out salve. Youll need to cover it with a band aid.
No BBQ is worth that wait.
I dunno. I'd wait that long for some proper Alabama tangy red-sauced barbecue, especially if I got a lot of the crispy charred end bits in my pulled pork sandwich.
1.5 hours is a long time to wait for food. I'm about to decide what to go get for lunch, myself.
It is raining here steady for going on 2 hours and temps are dropping. Forecast is for continued rain until about 6 pm when temps will reach freezing and it will change to snow, so if that happens, we'll have 7 hours of rain turn to ice and then a dusting of snow over top. That should be awesome for road conditions.
Last week I had daffodils bloom.
AAaand this is the part where everything starts to hurt from the shoveling. Mainly my wrists and back. Flat on the floor for a bit and then I'll go swim.
All we have is a wind advisory.
I have got to get out there to clear ice and slush. It is so hot out!
The BBQ was not worth the two hour wait, though it was quite good. The bread pudding was almost worth it.
