It is raining here steady for going on 2 hours and temps are dropping. Forecast is for continued rain until about 6 pm when temps will reach freezing and it will change to snow, so if that happens, we'll have 7 hours of rain turn to ice and then a dusting of snow over top. That should be awesome for road conditions.
Last week I had daffodils bloom.
AAaand this is the part where everything starts to hurt from the shoveling. Mainly my wrists and back. Flat on the floor for a bit and then I'll go swim.
All we have is a wind advisory.
I have got to get out there to clear ice and slush. It is so hot out!
The BBQ was not worth the two hour wait, though it was quite good. The bread pudding was almost worth it.
That would have to be some bread pudding!
I give up. There is still nothing to be done about the inches-thick ice in one little spot.
Snow here isn't as bad as predicted, but I haven't ventured forth to see other areas. Instead we are working on cooking all the things.
Lamb stew is in the crock pot and gluten free cupcakes have been baked. Prep for breakfast Egg muffins (smashed tatter tot, spinach, mushroom, onion, meat {sausage, ham, or bacon}, eggs, and cheese) has started. Need to get those done, mix up some chocolate buttercream and then take my first stab at fondant decorations. Oh, also need to cook up some chicken for weekday lunches.
Right now I'm taking a break and watching some Les Mis.
I had decided on grilled cheese and chili, but there was clearly a wait at the diner so I moved on to the Thai restaurant and had an assortment of their daily specials. That worked out well for me.
Nw I would like to sit on the couch and digest my lunch for while, but I will do some cleaning like I ought.
Prep work is done, just need to assemble the egg muffins. But I realized I was hungrey. Lunch break.
Is anyone else having trouble with Hulu? Pages load at a snail's pace and videos won't play at all. Hulu is harshing my sloth, man.
