Aw, my brother just sent me a vid of my 12 year old nephew's first time behind the wheel. Never left first, right turns only in an empty lot, but he stopped smoothly and no overcorrections. And he was driving the Beemer with the hard clutch, so I'm impressed. Not the first time he's driven something, but first time a real car.

I was telling one of my friends here tonight that I have fallen down this sappy hole for a few months and even though she's only known me a couple of years she was all "wha?! Why?"

She finally told me just to embrace it since I have no real person to get sappy with.
