ND is fascinated by how things work. He can (and does) read instruction manuals from cover to cover and loves shows about what lies beneath the mundane. When we first started dating, I stopped by his apartment one day and found him utterly engrossed in a TV show about paint. He was, in fact, watching paint dry. By choice. And then a few days later, I stopped by and found him watching the same show, this time about grass. He was watching grass grow. So there you have it.
