Our wings are not tired

Yeah, it's a long day. Taught at SMC this morning, then had to go down to UCI to deal with some paperwork, and now I'm at UCLA.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Ugh,ND.

I spent the weekend with my mom when she got her cataract surgery, but I didn't have to do much. I think I even cross country skied in the woods by her house.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

ND, at least tomorrow you get to be a faculty advisor instead of a faulty one.

Very true. I didn't even notice the freudian typo. Somehow I thinking sitting here posting on b.org might be helping make me a faulty advisor.

Students need faulty advice sometimes, just to prepare them for life.

Yay flea! New house!

I am trying to make an appointment with a handyman and he keeps asking if he can come over during the work day.

Dude, I WORK. And not from home! Sigh.

Well, it' 6:30am, we've had light instead of heavy snow - looks like 2-3 new inches - and I am not really sure what is falling from the sky right now. But work is open. #timetomakethedonuts

So, I trudged to the bus, took the bus, was at work on time, was joined by a coworker at 8:10 who'd been on the road since 6:20am, fielded 5 phone calls from other staff who were wither stuck in their driveways or on a slow bus, and then at 8:30 the security staff announced over intercom that the decision had been made to close the library.

I swore a lot and loudly. What a stupid, insulting decision.
