Congrats flea!

I'm watching the rerun of the SNL anniversary special, and thought for a second that Joe Piscopo was actually old footage of Sinatra.

Crap, I checked my friend's house tonight and while I saw no leaks, it looks like the contractor was there and the hot water is off, but no leaks or frozen lines. But possible new plumbing. Maybe? I can't tell. So I don't know. I should've gone over two nights ago, but I lost track of time.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I've been feeling nauseous still after being out sick for a couple of days and have been munching on saltines throughout the day today. While talking with boss man, I bit into a cracker and he commented, suddenly, shocked, "wow, that is not a good look on you".

I can't even, as they say.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hey, Lee, did you see my message earlier? Should I send your package to your office? That's the last address I have for you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Later than I would have wished for you, Lee, but yay!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Connie, I seem to recall that for my Mom's last cataract surgery, I wasn't able to take the whole day off work, so had to leave her alone for at least a few hours in the afternoon. I seem to recall that for much of it, she was just sleeping off the aftereffects of the sedation. So I would think as long as someone's checking on you periodically, you'd be alright. I mean, even if you had a friend or your roommate there, it's not like they'd be with you every second, especially if you were napping. (Definitely can't drive yourself home, though). :)

Sorry Dana, I must have missed it. Office is good!

Next week is probably going to start on Sunday instead of Monday, but at least I have tomorrow.

I think I feel the need to buy bourbon
