YAY
I've been feeling nauseous still after being out sick for a couple of days and have been munching on saltines throughout the day today. While talking with boss man, I bit into a cracker and he commented, suddenly, shocked, "wow, that is not a good look on you".
I can't even, as they say.
WtF, Juliebird's bossman?
Hey, Lee, did you see my message earlier? Should I send your package to your office? That's the last address I have for you.
Later than I would have wished for you, Lee, but yay!
Connie, I seem to recall that for my Mom's last cataract surgery, I wasn't able to take the whole day off work, so had to leave her alone for at least a few hours in the afternoon. I seem to recall that for much of it, she was just sleeping off the aftereffects of the sedation. So I would think as long as someone's checking on you periodically, you'd be alright. I mean, even if you had a friend or your roommate there, it's not like they'd be with you every second, especially if you were napping. (Definitely can't drive yourself home, though). :)
Sorry Dana, I must have missed it. Office is good!
Next week is probably going to start on Sunday instead of Monday, but at least I have tomorrow.
I think I feel the need to buy bourbon
I feel like I should either never eat in another persons presence ever ever again, or take to walking around with orange rinds on my mouth while smiling.
yay, flea!
I wish my week was over. Alas, I have 3 more hours to sit in a tech rehearsal as a faulty advisor, and then the commute home, and then back here from 1 PM to 11 PM tomorrow for another full day of hanging out at the faculty advisor. I'm beat. My commute has already been 165 miles today and I still need to drive home after this.
