Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Sounds like they weren't terribly helpful, Lee, dang.

I was supposed to have a measles titer drawn (to see if I need a booster or not) at 1PM--made the appointment yesterday or Thursday. Proceeded to go take a nice walk (it's pretty out!) with my coworker and completely forget until...1PM. Oops. And now it's already 4:30. How did that happen?? I've gotten nothing done today!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

They're already playing. I think Finn was really, really ready for a buddy.

I am going to have to confine Spidey to the spare bedroom overnight, though. I don't want them unsupervised for any length of time, even though I am stunned by how fast they've started getting along.

Also, the full name is (thanks to a friend) Spiderman Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay cats!

Lee, that sounds...suboptimal.

I have now eaten a really excessive amount of excellent bread.

Great name, Anne!

Mmm, bread. I'm really glad I impulsively bought whole wheat water crackers, they are delicious.

Yay, walk, meara?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, I love the name, Anne. And he's fricken *gorgeous*, with that agouti coat and the wild stripey legs and black tail! Isn't there some schmancy breed he should be hitting the qualifying points for? I'm so pleased for all of you that the guys are hitting it off so well, so early.

That's both unhelpful and disheartening, Lee. I'm sorry.

Oy, mac, mac, mac. I don't know why kids keep pressing the same button and expecting a different outcome. (sends msbelle patience and coping vibes)

He is a VERY pretty boy, pretty in a different way from Finn. And his coat is very thick, even though the fur is very short.

Both cats are flopped on the floor, pooped out after playing.

I don't know that kids necessarily expect a different outcome. That's just part of being a kid, pressing that same button. Because it's the button you know. Can last well into adulthood.

Oh hey, time to wash more dishes.

pretty much. Hopefully they can fix it on Tuesday without me having to pay again.

Oh, god, yeah, no way you should pay for that.

Breakable things all clean and put away, sharp things all washed, time to get serious about drinking.
