hive mind, I would like some information about acai bowls.
I would like to try one, but I would like some information about taste and texture. The one I am considering has fruit (pineapple etc) in addition to acai.
does acai taste like fruit, should I eat it in a smoothie instead of a bowl? advice?

I am not sure I understand what you mean by bowls.
It does seem to be always paired with another fruit, blueberries or something.

The only acai bowl I've had was in San Diego, and involved what seemed to be more of am acai-flavored sorbet/smoothie of sorts? With various other fruits and some granola on top. It was delicious!
