I on the other hand recently ran out of bourbon and need to restock.
Angel's Envy. My new favorite. Best price is at the DEP in Covington.

Can I recommend the Elijah Craig 12-year? For an affordable bourbon (IIRC, around $25 per bottle), it's very tasty. It will be a repurchase when I'm done with it.
Yeah, Angel's Envy is more than Elijah Craig, for sure.
There's room for more than one bottle of bourbon on the bar. I'm poly when it comes to my booze.

Amen.
I'm sorry about the house, flea. Home-buying is a soul-sucking process.
Buy a box of kids' Valentines (obviously superhero-themed; I'm sure I didn't need to say that) and hide each one around the house.
I will warn you that the Guardians of the Galaxy Valentines at Target are very disappointing, although they do come with GotG pencils.
I'm putting aside money for moving and trying to add extra for painting or other minor pre-move in costs.
I don't wish to discourage you, but the costs of moving in are always more than you'd imagine. For example, you might find that the sellers, who had seemed more or less reasonable, had taken the window treatments they promised to leave, some light fixtures and most of the light bulbs.
You guys. This is not safe for work if people might see your monitor, but it is well worth saving for later. [link]

Our contract said everything screwed into the wall stayed, which included curtain rods. We did the walk through the night before the closing to find out they had taken them anyway. They ended up having to send us a check to cover the cost of replacing them.
OMG Jesse, I can't even with that. (This may be the first time I have used that phrase, but it suddenly seems so appropriate, because...Cosmo. LINGUINE. WTF.)
Yeah, I've heard about that stuff with light fixtures and window treatments and it just seems bizarre--like, in many/most cases, you're not going to be able to re-use those window treatments at least, in a new house! I guess if it was some crazy-expensive light fixture maybe I could see it (my sister's neighbors have this like, $2K light fixture over their dining room table). But otherwise that's just nuts.
