Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

WOO HOO AMY!!!

Edit, edit like the grammatical and developmental wind!

I had a pair of purple silk palazzo pants in the 90's. I wore the shit out them; they were beautiful and comfortable. If I still had them, I would wear them out quite a lot.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Purple silk palazzo pants sound divine.

Yay, Amy!

We had a staff meeting this morning. Which means I have to get up and be at work six hours before my shift usually starts. And this was one where they were training us on doing charting on the computer, half of which I have been doing at another location. So I only needed a brief "Yeah, open up that side now, and make sure you check ___" but several people at this house are computer avoidant and need their hands held through every step of the way. Not to mention, people kept talking over each other. And then there was a required topic of training that the supervisor just read from the policy manual without really hitting the stuff people actually need to be reminded of. Of a three hour meeting, I really only needed one hour. And I spent the last forty-five minutes saying "shut the fuck up" in my head over and over again. I don't mind if bosslady noticed me staring blankly at the center of the table but I hope the rest of that thought process didn't show in my face.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I made myself a fine grilled cheese and bacon sandwich for lunch, and it was quite good, if I do say so myself. Pluses and minuses over Panera.

Had three meetings, still, need to write some things. Doan wanna. I don't understand why I haven't been sleeping well, but it does not help my productivity.

brillig

I ordered 2 new pairs of palazzo pants. They're labeled as cropped, so they should brush the top of my feet. Yay (?) for short legs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I had steak tacos for lunch--very nummy! First time I had them with pineapple.

Another client called so I have actual work to do for a bit.

I am so tempted to get some of those bags that supposedly let you make grilled cheese in a toaster, because grilled cheese is so amazingly tasty, but they have already taken away one toaster from us for safety concerns (grease on the crumb collector set off alarm bells with someone) so I am hesitant to push it.

Ah. Other client's work is trivial and he says there's no rush so I'm leaving early anyway. Take that , work gods.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I may have to go to Panera for dinner.
