A year ago, I bought some very wide legged pants, I think they're called palazzo pants. They're slightly long and I've never bothered getting them hemmed. We're all doing business-casual this week due to visiting customers, so I pulled the pants out and wore some slightly higher shoes to compensate for length.
Why have I never wore this style of pant before! They're so comfy! My fat legs don't get squeezed and they flow so nicely! Must own more! And relearn how to hem things.
Palazzo pants have a lot to recommend them.
I just saw the cutest pair at Target on clearance, but I would have had to hem off all the detail on the cuff to wear them without tripping.
I'm getting back into editing! I mean, it's qualified excitement until I get a call back, but pretty definite. I get to read submissions again! And edit! I'm bouncing.
I love palazzo/wide legged pants. They're comfortable, and I think they're flattering to many body types. Or, at least, to mine. I have several from J. Jill. [link]
I'm getting back into editing! ... I'm bouncing.
Wheeeeeee! Fantastic, Amy!
There's something very '60s about palazzo pants.
