This is going to be fun in all the ways that aren't.
Maria, I was too busy unfucking things at work today to express my dismay over your new work situation.
I would like to go to Frontera. And then anywhere on a plane.
This is my strategy for dealing with my life right now. I may have named the saved search for job hunting, "Fly, you fools!"
Sorry about the all the god damn snow?
Ha ha ha -- my office is "open" tomorrow. With the subway totally shut down and people being encouraged not to drive. So basically, anyone who walks to work is welcome to go. I am not going, thank goodness.
I'd really like them to find and give me back my $1500 dollars.
Also, sdx, tab and caps lock have gone awol on my laptop. Given it needs more memory, and now this...sigh. There are things for which I still want more than a mini iPad, ie things I don't want to be forced into mobile mode. I do have a spare Bluetooth keyboard, so it isn't a total wash.
I'm unimpressed with this week so far.
I would like to go to Frontera. And then anywhere on a plane.
I would subscribe to this lifestyle.
The first time you use "oxt" with anyone it'll take some time to explain, but once you have established it is wonderful. My scheduling with friends via txt has gotten much faster.
Aaand my deck is icing up. One guess as to how I found out. But the last of the birdseed is in the feeder.
That is fucked up, sarameg.
I don't think I need "oxt". I don't make that many weekend plans, I'll usually specify the date. I can see the need for a "me and you" us distinct from a "me and them" us. Mexican food for breakfast also sounds good.
I found the slate article about "inclusive we":

I wish there were an english solution more elegant than 'in-we' which sounds like something you do in the WC.
I declare this week to be fucking done, even though it's Monday. In addition to the work bullshit, I got a notice that my 2014 property taxes weren't paid on my new house. They were supposed to have been paid with funds from the settlement. The settlement company is now out of business. Guess who had to unearth her HUD-1 and title insurance policy in the midst of the rest of the crap today?
I still haven't started drinking. I was working until 8, and barely managed popcorn for dinner. I'm done for the evening. I'll get up and try again tomorrow.
