Good luck shrift! I think you'd have a lot of visitors to Dublin.

Kat, the pictures are absolutely lovely! Congratulations again!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It's the part where it turned into a verb that struck me.

That was all me. It's been my shorthand for years.

Yep. that seems to be the most likely scenario. I'm sorry, Maria.

This is going to be fun in all the ways that aren't.

I'm sorry, Maria. That's a lousy situation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My company has not actually standardized the notifications - sometimes we get something along the lines of future endeavors, sometimes there's a terse "X is no longer with the company" and that's it, and sometimes there's no actual notification, just e-mails start bouncing. It's disconcerting.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

That sounds like my company -t. I found out last week that someone who I email information to regularly is no longer there. They haven't turned off her email or notified us out in the field. Very unsettling and super unprofessional.

Dublin would be awesome, right?

I've never been there! I'd finally get to see Ireland, though, right?

I'd love to work in Europe, and it's an added bonus that it gets you out of your current toxic environment.

Until recently, I hadn't really considered working abroad. But I don't have pets or kids, so I'm just going to be open to the possibility and see what happens.
