I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

73 here which is ridiculous. Will be the same for the next 3 days. Of course Mac and I are both inside.

Our wings are not tired.

I feel like we haven't heard from omnis in a while.

I was thinking that same thing a while ago too. If he doesn't appear soon I'll send him a note via FB.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

70-ish here. I am wearing shorts. Less than a week ago, I nearly spun out on pack ice.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I feel like we haven't heard from omnis in a while.

He checked in at the Gaming thread on 27 January. I think he's lurking for the moment.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

He's posted in facebook in the last day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can do all those DIY things, meara! Just take your time and follow the instructions (consult good/youtube if the instructions that don't come with the lock/sconce/whatever aren't good) and you'll be fine. It's very satisfying.

Well, at the moment I think I don't want to drag my ass to Home Depot, so I'm going to work on taxes and potential house-refinancing, and then maybe some clothing reducing if I can (I go back and forth between "I don't wear it but it's still awesome/useful for some particular outfit!" and "screw it all, I will donate ALL the shirts!", so we'll see).

Also: i have this super dress that I bought....over a year and a half ago? And right now it fits me great. BUT I can't figure out where to wear it! It's a gorgeous sexy dress, but it's ponte fabric, and a sheath dress, so doesn't really work for like, fancy fancy occasions. But it's way too nice and way too sexy to wear to, say, a work occasion. Help? It looks amazing on me and I want to find a place to wear it!

brillig

Why must I hunt hither and yon for a long handled dustpan! Target did not have one! My well-stocked grocer store did not have one. I have much sweeping to do in the kitchen, and I sure as hell am not going to bend over to use a dustpan. Don't make me go to WalMart!

Oh, sure, you don't have to do the DIY things right now.

Hm. Gorgeous sexy dress is not right for going out dancing, I take it?

hip deep in pie

I hardly shovelled today, and my shoulders are hurting like woah. I actually started shovelling the mound the city plow left blocking the sidewalk (The sidewalks are a city responsibility, but where the plow is too narrow for the sidewalk, they just leave snow.), but it was no match for my plastic shovel, and I was in a dress, so I decided to go at it later. When I went out, my neighbour had done it. This morning was the first time I left the house since Thursday evening.

I can't believe we are getting more snow. I give up.
