So noble, Jesse.
In between the minimal amount of cooking and cleaning I'm forcing myself to do today (so relieved to find I have three salads for this week's lunches! I might be able to come up wit the balance of meals for the week yet) I am catching up on The Writers' Room and Creature Shop Challenge. Both are fun in a seeing-the-sausage-get-made way!
Was someone asking here about DashCon? Here's a post with a lot of links: [link]
Ooh, I forgot about both of those shows! Good one.
Since the grapevine was thriving while it was buried under paving stones and weeds, my strategy is to continue to neglect it while providing an arbor for it to climb on. Seems to be working. I just went out to make sure it wasn't drying up (since I haven't even been watering it) and not only are the leaves lush and green, the grapes are starting to purple up. I might need to add to the arbor for next year.
I have hung up 9 pictures this weekend. Happy to have accomplished something, however minor, in the house.
That sounds like a lot to me, msbelle!
I'm watching teens on Chopped, and this one kid has not said he is gay, but he has said he was "born this way" (about being a chef), and just said his plate is "fit for a queen." I think there was something else I now forget. Hilarious. Also he wants to have his own dinner theater that he cooks and performs in.
Thanks for the link, Jesse.

My family is never on time. We are supposed to be at the location for MIL birthday in half an hour, it takes us that long to get there. DH has not showered yet. I know that the guest of honor and the rest of the family will all be late, but I Like To Be On Time. I am showered and dressed and ready to go of course.

It the curse of the punctual to wait around, Laura.
Breakfast concoction currently in progress: layers of kale, Canadian bacon, poached duck egg, Hollandaise, and custard. I hope it comes out okay. Trying out my new poaching pan - I think I like it.
