A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Much -ma to all those who need it. The universe needs to stop crapping on the people I treasure.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, that bear definitely wants someone's soul.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

allergic to Puffs Plus

Kleenex makes an equivalent that's just as good, I think.

Julie,I'm glad your mom made your dad see the light.

Did anyone really expect the products being marketed to customers who want Twilight fanfiction swag to pass muster?

Rescue. Save the Bear!

I insist on Puffs Plus tissues.

I have been sick and also unusually busy this week, and alas, I fell behind. Missed you guys! Highlights from the last week or so: I bought the most adorable owl suitcase, a much dreaded trip to the embassy to renew Luna's passport went way better than expected, I lost my voice (again, even though having my tonsils out was supposed to stop that), I finished a painting, and I nearly completed a scarf for Luna before realising the shade of yarn changed halfway through. One should really have better lighting when choosing yarn for a project. After several days of consideration I have decided to finish it anyway. It will be unique. Tonight we get to spend ridiculous amounts of money to eat lousy pasta at Luna's school. Always a joy.

So sorry about Wednesday, -t.

That bear frightens me. Do they truly not realize the wrongness of such a thing? I am all for handcuffs and all for teddy bears, but the two must be kept separate at all times!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Put in earplugs so I wouldn't be woken up by my neighbor leaving to walk the dogs, then put out the trash (the door she uses is right outside by bedroom window) but Nunya woke me up just now by standing on me impatiently and staring until I got up and let her out, where I could smell that some animal had marked my stoop. I don't know if it was a fox or the local tom, but both cats were extremely intrigued by it. At which point I shooed them back inside so they wouldn't get eaten by a fox or molested by the tom.

Walking disaster day. Pumpkin got startled sitting on my lap and raked my thigh and then I tipped a shelf onto my achilles. And I'm going to attempt plumbing?
