I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just remembered re: the trailers Hec linked to earlier that one of the recent Home Tours I went to had a vintage trailer on display and it was super cute. I want to say it was a Winnebago from maybe the 20s or 30s?

Today is CSA day, so I'm eating a lunch made with Swiss chard, garlic scapes, and summer squash.

Unexpected downpour and of course there were leaves on the porch roof. And of course I manage to be out there clearing it in the heaviest part...

So what I'm getting from Natter is that Tom needs to steal us a bunch of Frenchies and that the universe wants sarameg to stay inside and chill on the couch.

Say, does anyone know anything about some kerfluffle at Dashcon? I keep seeing references to it on Tumblr, but they seem to be sort of in the middle of the story. The hotel tried to kick them out? People sang Les Mis at the desk staff until they could get into their rooms? What?

I'm out on the patio in front of the Readercon hotel enjoying the perfect temp and the relative quiet. The con is fun but chock full of noisy people.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Met potential new boss; am very excited. Hope he takes the job.

Turns out he'd applied back when, but the board had gone with the useless bag of wind instead.

We actually had to be forced to stop talking so he could meet the other staff. I liked the pointed questions he asked, and I liked the comments he gave. And it was just so so different from the egotistical snotty attitude of the last guy who was highly underqualified yet also approved by the board. The board wants us to develop the woods into "useful" public space, so obviously they're too stupid to live. "Those gosh-darned pine barrens keep catching fire, let's develop them!" Hello, last open space in town here, let's hold onto our native hardwood forest.

Ahem.

So, excited about new boss. I'm fairly certain he'll say yes. I just hope he isn't a luddite.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, someone please help me out here, because I'm about to freak out. Does anyone know anything about petechiae (on the ankles and feet in this case) and if it's related to taking Buspar?

I'm supposed to go to a party thingy in an hour, and I want to crawl in bed and hide instead.

Sorry! Could it be like you were banging them with a bag you were carrying or something?

Petechiae are not a known Buspar side effect. They can be caused by an allergic reaction. Maybe you walked through some grass or weeds?
