Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

When my (former) kitty had a rage blackout, she almost put me in the hospital. That was scary and weird.

I was LATE today even though I started out an hour early, and it was bad, because I couldn't set up for a class that started at 8 am. On the other hand, I feel like the instructor culd learn to turn on the computer, since she is getting paid the same as I do for a year to teach one class.

The bus took 1 1/2 hours to get downtown (where I change buses). I missed the transfer and had to wait, so it ended up taking 2 1/2 hour to get to work!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is way too long, Sophia!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I was late to work because the buses weren't running on time, but it works out for me since I forgot that I have a 5-6pm meeting today.

I have a ton of email to sort through and zero fucks to give. I imagine this will not go well for anyone.

Sophia, I can't imagine your commute. It would make me insane.

I thought my flight was at 10AM and so woke up pretty early to have time to pack and not rush....and then realized it's at 10:40. Which means I now have time to drink my coffee slowly, and read the internet.

I was really disappointed by the article in the NYTImes today about all the supplements that are not actually in the supplements! Where is a person supposed to get the real stuff, then?? Who can you trust??

Also, had a 2nd (3rdish?) date with someone last night, we went out Saturday and realized I'll be gone all week and she's busy this Fri/Sat, so it was last night or next Sunday. So far so good. We've been texting a lot. She's good on text. I appreciate that in a girl. Also, dorky--one of the pictures she sent me last week was of her and a friend's kid, taste-testing rootbeers...and putting the results in Excel. Hah!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My train was on time but it was packed--maybe lots of people who normally drive took the train today?

Compared to my old boots, my new boots made me feel like a mountain goat when I was walking on uneven, heavily packed snow. I am starting to suspect that fixing things that stress me out is actually a good strategy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am starting to suspect that fixing things that stress me out is actually a good strategy.

If you say so.

In normal times, it is an hour, and they have an indoor bus station now. I like it and I read. There are days, though (mostly when I talk about it) where it is a perfect storm of being late and cold and frustrated. It has actually been better since the bus station because so far they are running buses ever 30 - 40 minutes now instead of every hour!

They have also made improvements in how you board and depart, so that mostly people stay in line (there are metal barriers that force you to be single file. So that is nice.

The one thing I do not understand that they did was put all the buses in bays that are parked diagonally. You would think then that they could all peel off and go forward, but the first bay in line is made so the bus can't go forward, it has to do a really awkward backing up around the bus behind it that seems to require both the driver, and two people directing it. I know this because I am in Bay 2 right behind it, and we always have to wait for it. After that, all the buses can just go right in a line.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Those were all store brands, though. I think (though the article didn't say, and I don't have data to point to right now) that brand names are okay. MAYBE.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

[link] so David Oyelowo makes all sorts of great points in this, and does it with humor and passion and all sorts of stuff, and two things:

Thing one: right, that's why I lost interest in Spooks/MI-5 after Danny.

Thing two: please, David Oyelowo, make an audio recording of the phone book.

I may have to seize the cat.

GRE achieved with a score of 166 verbal (about 96th percentile) and 161 math (about 80th percentile). I parked in a deck where the arms were up when I got there, but down when I got out, and I had no swipe card to exit. A kind college student swiped me out.
